- George Bickersteth Hudson, British Member of Parliament for Hitchin, 1892–1906. In 1885, he married Lucy Rebecca Falkner Ley, daughter of George Ley, of Cobourg, Ontario and his wife, Mary Stringer Falkner, at St. George's, Hanover Square. He was the son of Rev. T. I. Hudson, of Frogmore Hall, Hertford, England, and a barrister of the Inner Temple. He was elected to the House of Commons, and was a J.P. and D.L. of his county. Mrs. Hudson was a member of the Primrose League in England, and took part in social, political and charitable undertakings. [1]
